Got a pair for myself and my son. They are amazing gloves, breathe and dry well. Lots of padding and sewing is perfect.
Fairtex Breathable Gloves BGV1BR Muay Thai Compact Lightweight
I purchased the the BGV1BR 16oz in black. I’m completely impressed with the quality of the gloves and i really like how compact these gloves are. I have about medium size hands/fists and always train with hand wraps and these gloves fit very comfortably even with wraps. I know some people don’t like the mesh palm but what convinced me to get these is these have a grip bar, the attached thumb is leather unlike the original bgv1 which is canvas, and the mesh palm to help keep the gloves dry. I was able to get a good discount for Labor Day weekend which also motivated my purchase and glove delivery was only 3 days. I’ve included pictures for how these gloves compare in size to fairtex bgv9’s and other known Muay Thai glove brands, all gloves in the pictures are also 16 ounces. Overall I’m please with the purchase, including cost, shipping time, initial product fit, quality, and appearance.

Incredibly light weight but still offer great protection. Plenty of room inside the 16oz pair to accommodate for hand wraps (although I have medium sized hands). Padding feels tough, I love the pop I'm hearing on pads/bags. Haven't used them in sparring yet but am not concerned about their performance. I will say the padding is quite a bit more solid than my last pair of boxing gloves, so I will be pulling back the power a little bit especially on strikes to the face. My last pair had much softer padding around the knuckles.

These gloves are a huge upgrade from the boxing gloves I started with. The padding is denser, and the covering is durable. I have no doubt these will last me a while. The grip bar is in the perfect place for me, and the mesh keeps my hand cool, dry, and comfortable. Love these gloves!

The gloves so far are great. They feel great on my hands while training and hitting the heavy bag. I purchased the 10oz gloves as I prefer smaller 8oz and 10oz gloves to train. Great for pads or the heavy back to offer hand protection yet soft enough while still offering protection for partner drills and light sparring.
