Store owner replied: Hi Amy, Thank you for your 4-star review of the Fairtex SPE1 Fabric Kickboxing MMA Muay Thai Padded Shinguards. We appreciate you bringing up your questions regarding washing machine safety and the concern about potential odors after use. Proper care is indeed essential to maintain the longevity and freshness of your gear, especially with active use where sweat is involved. While general fabric care can be applied, specific cleaning instructions are usually provided to ensure the material integrity is preserved. To best address your query about the specific care instructions for your shin guards and ensure their optimal condition, we recommend reaching out to our dedicated customer support team. They can provide detailed guidance to help keep your son's gear clean and in excellent shape for many training sessions to come. We hope this helps and truly appreciate your continued support.
